There are a lot of things growing in my life. My girls are growing faster than I can even believe and have become more like little girls than babies now. The amount of clutter in my house has certainly grown! (That is my next project! Will post more on that another day!) But, not only that, when I have stopped and looked around this past week, I have seen that a lot of things around me are growing in one way or another.
My NIP (novel in progress) has grown an awesome amount in the past week. I wrote 12,000 words! This is the farthest I have ever gotten on a book since I normally got back and start criticizing myself. This time, I have vowed not to even read any of what I have written until the entire thing is done! What did my chosen genre end up being that inspired this flurry of activity, romance, of course! I am totally enjoying the process more now that I have realized I am not an outliner. I am a fly by the seat of my pants kind of gal. The characters are telling me where to go and I am adoring them!
My garden is growing. We have already gotten a few peppers this summer, but look at what we have coming in now!
I have made some awesome progress on my crafts this week, projects are growing! I had a quick finish with this sweet little bookmark I made:
My cross stitch is growing too! I am hoping to finish by the end of the week!
And last, but certainly not least, my collection of these fun little African Flowers are growing for a fun, fun project I’m making! I am going to leave it a secret for now, but will post more as it comes together!
So, everyone comment, tell me what is growing where you are!
Have a happy, hectic, handmade day!
